Petroglyphs in New Mexico

A month ago, Bob and I went hiking in Rinconada Canyon, part of the Petroglyph National Monument on a mesa just west of Albuquerque. It was fascinating. The volcanic basalt rock was chiseled with drawings between 400 and 700 years ago.
