Tulips at the Chicago Botanic Garden

June 22, 2010

Two months ago, we spent a day at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe. Visitors today will enjoy their rose garden, but we loved seeing all the flowering bulbs, especially the wide variety of tulips. Other highlights include a waterfall garden, and an extensive Japanese garden that covers 3 islands. It is beautiful, harmonious, and peaceful. Worth a trip in itself. We hope to return for one of their summer evening concerts.
